The
Torquay Community Larder
is a referral based foodbank and ask that if you or anyone you know is struggling with food poverty to contact the Torbay Coronavirus helpline on 01803 446022. The Torbay Coronavirus helpline are working with the Torbay Food Alliance to make sure that no one is left hungry.
Shopping and Prescriptions
Torbay Community Development Trust (TCDT), Ageing Well Torbay (AWT) and Brixham Does Care are working with local voluntary agencies across the Bay to help with collecting prescriptions and shopping. TCDT and AWT have added a layer of safety checks for those who are helping provide these services.
To request help, Torquay and Paignton residents should contact 01803 446022 between 8am and 8pm (open 7 days per week). For Brixham residents please contact 01803 857727 between 9am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Baby Bank
Riviera Life Baby Bank redistributes pre-owned and new baby clothes and basic essentials including nappies, food and toys to vulnerable families with children under 2 years who are experiencing poverty. RLBB works in partnership with local agencies and can be accessed through a referral system or as part of Riviera Life Storehouse foodbank, based at Riviera Life Church, 527 Babbacombe Rd, Torquay. Torbay Community Coronavirus Helpline
Helpline for those affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic, open to the people of Torbay to request help, volunteer their assistance or refer anyone they believe/know needs help. We also have phone lines available at the following numbers/hours:
01803 446022 - 8am-8pm, 7 days a week
01803 857727 - 9am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
In order to provide you with the best level of support, sometimes it may be appropriate to refer you to an outside organisation. The Torbay Community Coronavirus Helpline is operated by staff, volunteers, associates and partners of both Torbay Community Development Trust (lead) and Brixham Does Care.
